What surrounds the grid
- Score and period, at the top. Tap the big clock to set an exact M:SS; Start / Stop / Reset sit beside it. On iPhone the volume buttons start and stop it hands-free.
- The lineup card, below the roster. Seven spots, goalie first. Two taps per substitution, and it is what turns a GK Save into credit for the right keeper.
- Undo last, under the grid — or tap × on any row of the play log. Either corrects the score immediately.
- The play log runs live beneath everything. Glance at it after each whistle; it is the cheapest way to catch a mis-tap.
- End Game, in red at the bottom. It asks you to confirm, and only then does the game move to History.
Practise on it first — nothing can break
On the Scores tab, tap Practice with the scorer. It opens this exact board against a practice opponent with a full roster, entirely on your own device: nothing is broadcast, nothing is shared, and no real game is touched. The status dot reads Practice the whole time. Work through every button once before a game matters — this page exists because a coach spent four days during a live tournament hunting for a button, and ten minutes in the sandbox would have cost him nothing.Scorer Map
