Eggbeater: live water polo, from the table to every phone
What Eggbeater does, in under a minute. The scorer taps a goal on Eggbeater Desk, and it reaches every spectator’s phone in about five seconds: the lock screen, the bracket and the standings. Clubs run leagues and host tournaments on the same system.
Eggbeater Desk
Score a game
The scoring table on Eggbeater Desk: a whole game step by step, a Colorado console connected to the Desk, and short clips on the shot map, exclusions, timeouts and the Desk on each device.
How to score a live water polo game with Eggbeater Desk
A live game on Eggbeater Desk, step by step: start the clock, record goals, missed shots and saves, exclusions and timeouts, fix a wrong tap with Undo, and end the game. Filmed on an iPad, with the same board on a Mac at the end.
How to connect a Colorado console to Eggbeater Desk
Connect a Colorado Time Systems System 6 console to Eggbeater Desk on a Windows PC or a Mac. The Desk reads the pool’s game clock, period and shot clock, and offers every goal and exclusion the table enters as a one-tap prompt.

The shot map on Eggbeater Desk
Every goal and every missed shot can land on the shot map: where it was taken from and where it went, drawn to scale. Two optional taps after the scorer picks the player.
Exclusions and the 6-on-5 on Eggbeater Desk
Record an exclusion in three taps: Excl, who, then the kind. Kickouts count toward the three-exclusion rule, and the Desk counts the 6-on-5 down with the game clock. With a Colorado console connected, the table’s exclusion arrives as a one-click prompt.
Timeouts, Undo and ending the game on Eggbeater Desk
Timeouts in two taps, Undo for a wrong tap, and a clean finish at the final horn. In a real game, End Game publishes the final for spectators. The practice board shown here sends nothing.
Eggbeater Desk on iPad, Mac and Windows
The same scoring board on iPad, Mac, Windows and Android tablets. On an iPad the volume buttons start and stop the clock. On a Mac or a Windows laptop, the space bar does.
