When a team has not turned on Eggbeater's team tools, there is no code to join. You can still claim your child: their games, scores, player page and live score alerts come to My kids and the family calendar.
- Open My kids and tap Add a child.
- Tap Find your child's team.
- Under Pick the club, search for the club and tap it. Then Pick the team.
- Under Which players are yours?, pick every child of yours on this team.
- Tap Claim. The child's card shows Claimed by you.
What you see next
- Not on team tools yet: the card in your family hub for teams you claimed. Games, scores and stats already work. Chat, practice times and replies show up once the coach turns on team tools.
- Families chat: a chat for the parents and guardians who claimed kids on that team. Parents only, players never join, and the club admin can read it. When the team turns on team tools, it closes and stays readable.
- Invite the coach: shares a short note and the club directory link with your coach, so they can turn on team tools.
- Waiting for the coach: the team has turned on team tools and a coach still has to verify you. Chat, practice times and replies open as soon as they do.
If the team already uses team tools, Eggbeater tells you so. Ask the coach for an invite or the team code, then tap I have a team code.
