Turn on chat for your player

Players join Team chat only when a parent or guardian turns it on. Here is where, and what Team chat is.

Works on: iPhone and iPad (the Family tab), Android and the web app (your initials, at the top of the screen)

On iPhone and iPad: in the Family tab, tap the team's ⋯ menu, then My family (also on the Team tab card). On Android and the web: tap your initials at the top of the screen, then My kids, then your child.
On your player's card, turn on Allow team chat (on Android and the web, Team chat for [name]).

How Team chat keeps players safe

Team chat is the coaches, the players their parent or guardian allowed, and one monitor parent the coach picked, for SafeSport. No private messages, ever.
Team chat opens only once a coach picks the monitor parent. Until then your player sees that it is closed.
Only a parent or guardian sees the switch. A player whose chat is off sees: Ask your parent or guardian to turn on team chat for you.
You can turn it off at any time. The club admin can also turn it off.
