Club admins
Moderate team chat
Club admins see every conversation: review reports, hide messages, mute or remove a member, and set the monitor parent.
Works on: The admin (Teams and chat, Chat)
- 1In the admin, open Teams and chat and pick the team. A red badge on Chat counts open reports.
- 2Under Reports, tap Hide message, Dismiss or Open channel.
- 3Under Channels, tap Read to open any conversation. Hide or Unhide a message and add a reason; it is kept in the moderation log.
- 4Under Members in chat, tap Mute or Remove from chat. Unmute and Let back in undo them.
Good to know
- Monitor parent: pick the team's monitor parent here too, or Nobody (team chat closed).
- Moderation log: every hide, mute, removal and block report, with who and why.
- The overview shows Flagged messages across the club.
- A muted member can still read. A removed member leaves the team's chat.
- When someone deletes their account, a message of theirs with an open report stays in Reports, from Deleted user, until you resolve it.
