Invite families and approve them

With the team join code

1. 1Open Roster, then Families (on the web, Families & attendance).
2. 2Under Team join code, tap Make a Join Code (on the web, Make a team code).
3. 3Share it: put the QR up at the pool, or Copy link into a team email.
4. 4When families ask, approve them under Join Requests (on the web, Waiting for approval): tap Approve, or Approve all for a family with several kids (on the iPad, Approve All with the number of kids).

With an email invite

1. 1Under Invite families, tap Invite (on the iPad, Invite Families).
2. 2Pick the player, enter the email of each parent or guardian (or the player) and send.
3. 3They tap Accept invite and are on the team with no approval. The link works once, for 14 days.

Good to know

• Families who claimed a child before team tools came on show Claimed by [name] in the approval list.
• New code stops the old code and its QR at once. The switch next to the code turns it off without changing it.
• Ask every family to update sends a reminder to update contacts.
• Fans appear under Fans. They follow games and scores, never practice times, chat or replies.
