Each game has its own collection: the photos and clips families add, the game film when the club posts it, and short goal clips a coach cuts from the film. Season albums, such as Picture Day, sit beside the games. Each game's page has a Studio card too.
Open it
- On iPhone and iPad, open the Family tab and tap the Studio door (The team's photos and film). On Android and the web, tap your initials at the top of the screen, then the Studio door.
- Studio lists Albums, then Games, newest first, then By player when the team has player albums. From a game's Studio card, The whole season brings you here.
- Nothing there yet? You see Nothing in Studio yet.
Look at photos and film
- Tap a game. Its videos come first, then the photos.
- Tap Game film to watch the game. A YouTube film plays in the app, with Open in YouTube.
- Tap a photo to see it full size. On iPhone and iPad, Save to Photos keeps the original and Share sends it. On Android and the web, tap Download original.
Add photos
- Tap Add photos or a clip (Add photos in a season album).
- The first time, read the Studio terms, turn on I agree and tap Continue.
- On iPhone and iPad, tap Choose from the library (up to 30 at a time; + adds more), check the game each photo is filed under (change it with Pick a game) and tap Add with the count. On Android and the web, tap Choose photos or a clip; on a computer you can also choose a folder or drag the files in.
- Photos can be up to 30 MB and clips up to 15 minutes. They show for the team as soon as they are uploaded.
Player albums
- When the coaches turn it on, Studio reads the cap numbers in each photo and files it under that player in By player. It reads numbers, never faces, and skips goalie caps and any number it cannot read clearly.
- A wrong number? The person who added the photo, a coach or the club admin can tap Fix the cap numbers.
- Coaches can hide a player's album.
Who sees it and who adds
- Private to the team. You see Studio signed in, as a member of the team: families, players and fans who follow it, plus the team's coaches and the club admin. Signed out, a game shows only how many photos it has. Coaches can limit who looks, and who adds, to approved members (or adding to coaches).
- The game film is posted by the coaches or the club admin.
- Removing: the person who added an item, a coach or the club admin can remove it.
- One notification per game when new photos come in, to the team, not to the people who added them.
Keeping it safe
- Report this photo: say what is wrong with it and send it. The club admin takes a look and can take it down.
- The Studio terms say it: anyone on the team can ask for a photo of their child to come down, and it will. Report the photo, or ask the coach.
- Hide this person's photos hides someone's photos for you; the coaches still see them. Show them again brings them back.
Studio is included on every club and team plan, every league plan and every Tournament Host plan. When your club, league or tournament is not on one of those plans, your family gets Studio with Premium Spectator ($4.99 a month). See "What Premium adds". On Android, if your app does not show the Studio door yet, open app.eggbeater.app in your browser and sign in with the same account.
