The seed numbers are the standard pairing
1 v 8, 4 v 5, 3 v 6, 2 v 7 — the bracket that keeps the top two seeds apart until the final. Cross them out and write your own if your event seeds differently; nothing here is enforced. Two reasons. A tie on the sheet with no score is unresolvable an hour later, and a shootout result only makes sense if both regulation scores are there too — Eggbeater records those as a decimal on each team (4.4 / 4.3 means 4–4 in regulation, won 4–3 in the shootout).
